Port Contacts
When you plan a passage, the departure and arrival ports are looked up in the World Port Index and any contacts saved for those ports are listed. Add a harbour office, agent or service and the next vessel planning that port sees it too.
In the app: the port information in Passage Plans: a port lookup for departure and arrival, plus port contacts shared between vessels.

What it does
- Port details from the World Port Index for departure and arrival ports
- Contacts per port: name, role, phone, VHF channel, email, website, notes
- Add a contact from inside the passage plan
- Contacts are shared across all vessels on Hey Captain
- Agent and agent contact are also kept on each port call

Why it matters
Port numbers and VHF channels are on hand during passage planning, not in a phone or old email. One crew adding a contact saves the next crew from searching for it.
