Regulatory Updates
Each night Hey Captain checks the Red Ensign Group, MCA (MGN, MSN, MIN) and Cayman (CISN, CIGN) for new notices relevant to yachts. New ones wait as pending until they are reviewed.
In the app: the Pending Review list on the Regulations page and the Regulatory Updates card on the Dashboard.
Key capabilities
What it does
- Nightly check of Red Ensign Group, MCA MGN/MSN/MIN and Cayman CISN/CIGN
- New notices held as pending, not added straight to the library
- Each vessel records its decision: acknowledged or not applicable
- Pending count shown on the Dashboard card
- Approved notices go into the library the AI answers from
- Ask the AI Assistant to turn a notice into a compliance pack: checklist and draft risk assessment

- Mark MGN 681 as acknowledged.
- Make a compliance pack from MGN 681.
Anything it would change comes back as a card first. Nothing is saved until you press Approve.
Why it mattersNew notices come to you instead of someone having to check each website. Each one is reviewed and the vessel's decision is kept on record.
