How much does it cost?
Hey Captain is priced per vessel. Book a demo and we will put together a quote for your yacht or fleet.
Is the AI Assistant on every plan?
Yes. The AI Assistant, the Dashboard and the Crew Board are on every plan.
Can we add a module without changing plan?
Yes. Modules can be switched on for a vessel on their own.
Who owns our data? Can we take it with us?
Your data is yours. The records that matter export to PDF from their pages: hours of rest, checklists, the Oil Record Book, crew certificates, documents, the calendar and the budget. If you leave, ask us and we will send you a full copy of your records.
Does it work offline at sea?
Not yet. Hey Captain runs in the browser on a laptop, tablet or phone and needs an internet connection: the yacht’s Wi-Fi, VSAT or Starlink. There is nothing to install.
How long does setup take?
There is nothing to install. We set up your vessel, the crew logins and the modules you use with you, and copy your existing records in. How long the copy takes depends on how much you bring; we will plan it with you at the demo.
We use another system. Can we move?
Yes. Hey Captain connects to the other platform’s API, or reads its Excel / CSV exports, and copies your equipment, maintenance tasks and history, crew, certificates, spares, LSA / FFE, drills, defects, charters, leave and bunkering. You see a preview first, nothing is written until you press Copy, rows already there are skipped, and each area can be undone.
Who sees what?
Each crew login gets Hidden, View, Edit or Full for every module, with presets for deck, engineering and interior. Each vessel’s data is kept separate in the database itself, and the AI Assistant follows the same rules as the person using it.
